Who is Manor House Development Trust?
Manor House Development Trust is a charitable social enterprise. We deliver and help other organisations to deliver community services which are value for money and create lasting benefits. This approach allows the community to lead and determine its own future. We do many of these projects in the Redmond Community Centre!
What sort of projects do you do that help the community?
Here is just a selection of the sort projects we are proud to
deliver and support!
'Confidence Academy for Mum'
Supporting mothers who are looking to go back into the workplace
Helping families to express themselves and connect with each other
through the art of puppetry!
Building friendships and fighting isolation with a shared hobby!
Supporting the community through free one-to-one sessions to help
improve physical and mental health
Why raise funds for us?
We want to make sure that everyone has equal access to our services, especially to those who may have experienced financial strain, limited opportunities previously and isolation, which is why what we offer is either free or cost very little. This is why we rely on the generosity of others who share the same ethos as we do. That everyone had has the right to determine their own future.
I'd love to join, but what if I've never run before?
If you've never even worn a pair of running shoes in your life, or whether you've completed many a marathon, all abilities are welcomed.
